Knights Get Clutch Win, 6-5
The Buffalo Buffalo and Brooklyn Knights provided some drama for the home crowd.

Buffalo got a decent performance from pitcher Glenn DePue, but it wasn't enough to beat the Brooklyn Knights. Brooklyn won the The Greenhouse contest, 6-5. DePue threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Brooklyn reliever Nick Sweet got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Randy Nelson was tagged with the loss.

Brooklyn used a timely hit from Grant Ferguson to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Knights ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Ferguson.

Brooklyn is now 50-53, while Buffalo is 48-55.
