No one was more impactful than Pat Falk in the 9-3 Detroit win over Havana. Falk was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. John Hoover got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Julio Diaz recorded his 1st save for Detroit.

Dylan Lucas had a big bases-clearing triple for the Pizzas in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Detroit leading 4-2 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Kwan-wuk Tae, who finished 3rd in the FL in innings pitched with 243.2 in 2034, and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pizzas ahead, 7-2.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Falk.

The Pizzas improved their record to 20-18 with the win over Havana.
