Blueberry Bulldogs Get 8-4 Win Versus Lansing
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs locked up a win at Bulldogs Ballpark, knocking off the Lansing Red Storm, 8-4. On the mound for Sudbury was right-hander Josh Deere. He played a major role in the triumph. Luis Espinoza closed the door for Sudbury, picking up his 27th save of the year. Sudbury raised its record to 59-43 with the win.

Chris Edwards took Lansing hurler Alex Martinez deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Blueberry Bulldogs on top, 5-3. In all, Edwards had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Josh gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Sudbury skipper Lord Parquad.
