The Dublin Porters beat the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 5-2, at Bulldogs Ballpark. The win was due in part to center fielder Jesse Oswald, who went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. Jason Hendsbee was the winner. He's now 9-5. The loser was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Dudley. Chris Gills earned save number 15 this season.

Dublin grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Oswald hit a run-scoring double off Danny Dudley. His 20th double of the season put the Porters out in front, 3-2.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Oswald told the Dublin Daily News.

With the win, Dublin has a record of 64-38. Sudbury falls to 51-52.
