The first-place St. Louis Archies picked up another win.
The St. Louis Archies polished off the Arizona Desert Storm by the score of 8-1. The largest share of the credit belonged to center fielder Albert Salgado. Salgado was 4-4 with 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Archies. The winner was Shuhei Ouchi, who threw 80 pitches over 5.1 innings. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits.
