The East Haddam Hyenas picked up a win at Ballpark of East Haddam, taking down the Lansing Red Storm, 9-3. Starting pitcher Efrain Sanchez was a big reason why. With the win, East Haddam raised its record to 21-16.

In the bottom of the fourth, East Haddam left fielder Jarrett Fischer had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and no one out, Fischer stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 2-1, East Haddam. For the game, he was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks.

"Efrain did what Efrain does," said East Haddam manager Joe Jankowski.
