Mike Martinez, who is tied for 5th in the AL in quality starts with 5, propelled his team to victory over the Los Angeles Kings. The final score was 3-2, Yellowstone. Yellowstone reliever Billy Sweeney was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Robert Martinez took the loss. Kurat Feyzioglu closed out the game, earning his 11th save.

The Super Volcano got a big at-bat from designated hitter Travis Kinnard. For the game, Kinnard was 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Yellowstone a 3-2 lead.

"My job is to go out and execute," said Martinez.

Yellowstone is now 23-14, while Los Angeles is 19-18.
