Baccari Delivers Walk-Off Win for Knights
|
Though he had a stellar game, Josh Sunday could not prevent his team, the Hanoi Dragon Warriors, from losing, 5-4, to the Brooklyn Knights. Sunday was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Tanner Denny, who finished 3rd in the AL in saves with 36 in 2045, was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Landon Paulick. The win puts Brooklyn at 12-25.
John Baccari was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Knights left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Baccari said.
