Takoyaki Get Past Sudbury for 9-8 Win
The Osaka Takoyaki beat the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 9-8, at Takoyaki Park. Osaka shortstop Steve Barone had an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Osaka reliever Dave Sartuche got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Justin Roeber was tagged with the loss. The Takoyaki raised their record to 14-22.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Osaka trailing 8-7, Barone hit a cutter from Justin Roeber for a 2-run double. In the blink of an eye, the Takoyaki had a walk-off win.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Barone.
