The Dublin Porters downed the Kyiv Cossacks, 10-6, at Kyiv Grounds. Jeremy Whitby led the way, going 3-for-5 for Dublin. Juan Gonzalez, the winning pitcher, is now 3-4. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 6 runs on 7 hits, while fanning 7 and walking 2. The win gives Dublin a season record of 18-18.
Dublin catcher Noel Graeve helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.
