Laines Hits 2 home runs in Dragon Warriors Win
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors downed the Brooklyn Knights, 12-3, at Brooklyn Coliseum. Danny Laines led the way, going 4-for-5 for Hanoi. Hanoi reliever Gregory Sayadian picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Ray Totino was saddled with the loss. With the win, Hanoi upped its record to 23-13.

Hanoi won the game in part because of Scot Shearing. The center fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Dragon Warriors ahead, 2-0. For the game, Shearing had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said Brooklyn skipper Enoch Tang.
