Yellowstone Topples Portland, 5-2

The home crowd had a good time watching the Portland Beavers and Yellowstone Super Volcano get after it.
The Yellowstone Super Volcano locked up a win at Volcano Ballpark, knocking off the Portland Beavers, 5-2. On the mound for Yellowstone was right-hander Jim Davis. He played a major role in the triumph. Kurat Feyzioglu picked up the save, his 2nd.
Josh George had a big 2-run double for the Super Volcano in the bottom of the first inning. With Yellowstone leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 27-year old left-handed pitcher Sam Davis and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Super Volcano ahead, 4-0.
Yellowstone manager GM AtticaOnline called it "a pretty good win."
Yellowstone goes to 3-1.
