|
Portland Beavers pitcher Ray Barber was in top form, leading his team past the Waikiki Wayfinders, 3-1. The setback makes Waikiki 12-22.
The Beavers got a big at-bat from left fielder Luke Spradley. For the game, Spradley was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Portland a 2-1 lead.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Barber.
