Los Angeles pitcher Earl Alexander had a large part in his team beating the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The defeat makes Sudbury 22-13.

The Kings got a big at-bat from catcher Gabe Herrera. For the game, Herrera went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Los Angeles a 2-0 lead.
