Portland Sent Home with 4-1 Loss
|
Hyeok Kim pitched a gem to lead Osaka to victory over the Portland Beavers, 4-1. Daniel Forsyth wrapped it up, recording his 8th save. The Takoyaki raised their record to 13-21.
Osaka left fielder Sam Clark contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a splitter to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 45th hit of the season and put the Takoyaki ahead, 2-0.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Kim.
