Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Desert Storm Stadium.

Arizona designated hitter Eddie Garcia was a significant contributor in his team's 11-2 triumph over the Los Angeles Kings. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Desert Storm. Kevin Spencer, the winning pitcher, improved to 4-0. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 1. Josh Kern nailed down the save.

The Desert Storm got a big hit from first baseman Chris Nicotra. Facing Los Angeles pitcher Cody Harbaugh in the bottom of the eighth, Nicotra pounded a grand slam home run to center. His 12th home run of the season put the Desert Storm ahead, 10-2.

"Do what you're good at," said Arizona manager GM Fetty. "That's all I ask of the team."

The win elevated the Desert Storm to 19-15.
