Both teams had their chances, but the Yellowstone Super Volcano eventually prevailed.

The Yellowstone Super Volcano dealt the Arizona Desert Storm a 5-4 loss at Desert Storm Stadium. Travis Kinnard, who finished 5th in the AL in doubles with 45 last year, was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Art Madsen was the winner. He's now 5-1. The loser was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Mario Martinez. Ryan Podolsky collected his 12th save.

Early in the game, Kinnard had a 2-run home run for Yellowstone. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Super Volcano on top, 2-0.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Arizona manager GM Fetty.

Yellowstone goes to 21-11.
