Behind the hitting of Chris Nicotra, the Kyiv Cossacks stopped the Hanoi Dragon Warriors, 9-4. Nicotra went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Cossacks. Kyiv is now 17-16, Hanoi 17-16.

With Kyiv leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Nicotra hit a fastball from Tony Ramos for a grand slam home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Cossacks ahead, 5-0.
