Porters Lose By a Run at Brooklyn
Brooklyn starter Josh Deere pitched well against the Dublin Porters at Brooklyn Coliseum. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-5. With the win, Brooklyn raised its record to 20-14.

Brooklyn took a 6-5 lead on Deere's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Sergio Bahena in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Brooklyn to the win.

"Josh pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang.
