Los Angeles Loss Diminishes Lambert Performance
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs outlasted Zachery Lambert and the Los Angeles Kings, 12-10. Lambert was impressive in the loss. The Los Angeles right fielder was 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Justin Roeber closed it out for Sudbury, earning his 11th save. Sudbury used the clutch hitting of Nick Rojas to capture the win. The catcher drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Blueberry Bulldogs the lead, 12-10. For the game, Rojas had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

Sudbury manager Coach John was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
