Hanoi turned a good effort from starter Tony Ramos into a win over the Portland Beavers at Beavers Park. The Dragon Warriors won the game, 4-2. The winner was Ramos. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Steve Thomas. The Dragon Warriors improved their record to 21-12 with the win over Portland.

The Dragon Warriors benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Hanoi was leading 2-0 when Justin Gonsalez hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Hanoi in front, 4-0.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Ramos.
