Kings Rally to Win
The Los Angeles Kings defeated the Arizona Desert Storm, 10-9, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to shortstop Edwin Luna, who belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3 for the Kings. Jim Davis picked up his 11th save of the season. Arizona is 18-14 after the defeat.

Los Angeles used the timely hitting of Greg Barford to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Kings on top, 10-9. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Luna.
