Alcala Excels in 10-6 Kyiv Win
The Kyiv Cossacks beat the Pittsburgh Yinzers by a score of 10-6. Kyiv right fielder Kyle Alcala deserved the lion's share of the credit. Alcala was 2-3 with a home run and a triple, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for the Cossacks. The winning pitcher was Jamie Conway. He tossed 106 pitches over 7.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. The loss has the Yinzers at 14-18.
