The 3-hit performance of Steve Buffington, who is a three-time Great Glove Award winner, helped the Hanoi Dragon Warriors beat the Detroit Pizzas, 8-2. Andy Pittman got the win, improving to 8-5. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 9 and walking 3. Eduardo Tinoco closed it out for Hanoi, earning his 1st save.

Jamie Williams hit a 2-run double off Brad Riddick in the bottom of the third, which put the Dragon Warriors in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Williams had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Buffington.
