Nicotra Lifts Desert Storm to 9-2 Triumph
|
The Arizona Desert Storm powered past the Los Angeles Kings, 9-2, at Desert Storm Stadium. Chris Nicotra went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2, to lead the charge. Ronaldo Sardinha, who finished 3rd in the FL in innings pitched with 218.0 in 2047, was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 1 run on 10 hits, with no walks and 11 strikeouts.
