Blueberry Bulldogs Lose Late, 12-8
The Dublin Porters defeated the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 12-8. First Baseman Peter Thompson deserved a large share of the credit. Thompson went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Porters. Trenton Peterson earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 3-3. Dublin now sports a record of 63-38.

Dublin used a clutch hit from Ciro Montorsi to get the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Porters ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Montorsi told the Dublin Daily News.
