Setsujiro Takahashi had a good game, but he could not keep the Arizona Desert Storm from falling, 8-3, to the St. Louis Archies at Desert Storm Stadium. The Arizona right fielder was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Mike Ricketts, the winner, goes to 2-2. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 5 walks and 7 strikeouts over 7.1 innings. St. Louis, now 26-6, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Danny Cuello had a big 2-run double for the Archies in the top of the fourth inning. With St. Louis leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Ronaldo Sardinha, who is tied for 3rd in the FL in wins with 4, and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Archies ahead, 5-0.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Cuello told the St. Louis Today.
