7-3 Blueberry Bulldogs Win over Aztecs Evens Season Record
|
Albert Bencomo, who is tied for 8th in the FL in home runs with 19, had a 4-RBI night to help the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs down the San Antonio Aztecs, 7-3. Sudbury, at 50-50, occupies second place in the Federation League Birdbrains Division.
With Sudbury leading 3-0 in the top of the fifth, Bencomo hit a cutter from David Moses for a 3-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 6-0.
"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Bencomo told the Sudbury Daily News.
