In a tight contest between the Buffalo Buffalo and the St. Louis Archies, Daniel Bojorquez was the determining factor. The Buffalo right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. Buffalo reliever Danny Rutledge was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Chris Moore took the loss. Randy Nelson got the save, the 8th for him this season.

Buffalo took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Nick Koonts hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Buffalo in front, 2-1.

"Daniel made his pitches," said Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae.

The loss puts St. Louis at 19-13.
