Fans watched the Yellowstone Super Volcano and the Buffalo Buffalo fight to the finish.

Starting pitcher Jack Frick pitched well enough to help the Yellowstone Super Volcano beat the Buffalo Buffalo, 4-3. Yellowstone reliever Rogelio Morales was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Randy Nelson took the loss.

Yellowstone used the timely hitting of Ricardo Bermudez to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Super Volcano on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Frick.

Yellowstone, at 65-34, is 16 games up in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.
