The Osaka Takoyaki knocked off the Dublin Porters, 9-7, in Federation League action at Porters Ballpark. Osaka third baseman and Marana, Arizona, native Chad Shuff had an outstanding performance. The second-place Porters have lost 5 consecutive games.

Shuff contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Osaka in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 7-5, Shuff took a slider from Omari Johnson and stroked the home run to left-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Takoyaki to leap in front, 9-7.

Shuff told a Osaka Times reporter that the win made him feel "upbeat about our team."
