Sugar Kings Deal Beavers 7-2 Loss
Havana starter Chad Edwards pitched well against the Portland Beavers at Beavers Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-2. Fernando Moreno recorded the save for Havana, his 1st of the season. The win for the Sugar Kings lifted their record to 48-48.

Havana used the timely hitting of Billy Olson to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sugar Kings on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Chad throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Havana manager The Baron.
