The East Haddam Hyenas got a rain-soaked win over the Los Angeles Kings.

The Los Angeles Kings got a sterling performance from pitcher Toby Guinn, but the East Haddam Hyenas still prevailed, 4-3. Guinn threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. Jason Derrick got the save, the 2nd for him this season.

The Hyenas got a gift in the top of the eighth inning, when they were leading 3-2. With two out and the bases loaded, Ben Dean reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 4-2, East Haddam.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Los Angeles manager Jim KP, "let me know."

Their 34-61 record puts the Hyenas last in the Federation League Knuckleheads Division.
