Dublin Bats Run into Mooney Buzzsaw in 2-1 Loss
|
The Brooklyn Knights beat the Dublin Porters, 2-1, at Brooklyn Coliseum. Starting pitcher Sam Mooney was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The first-place Porters have lost 6 consecutive games.
The Porters had trouble solving Mooney, who surrendered 1 run on 4 hits over 7.1 innings.
"Sam was all business tonight," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang.
