Kings Top Aztecs to Even Record
|
Behind an impressive start by Joey Frank, Los Angeles beat San Antonio, 4-1. Los Angeles now has a record of 47-47 with the win.
The Kings got an important contribution from first baseman Ruben Quijas, who in the bottom of the second knocked a 2-2 fastball into right for a 3-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Kings ahead, 4-0.
"Joey was throwing free and easy," said Los Angeles manager John Horn.
