Led by Ed Putty, the Brooklyn Knights defeated the Dublin Porters, 7-4. Putty went 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Knights. Vince Gaskin claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 4-3. The wins continue to add up for Brooklyn. Brooklyn took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Putty hit a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season made the score 6-4, Brooklyn.
