Brooklyn Carves Out 4-2 Win
|
Brooklyn Knights starter Ray Totino turned in a top-notch performance against the St. Louis Archies at Brooklyn Coliseum. The result was a win for the Knights, 4-2. The Brooklyn win streak is now 3 games.
The game was at a stalemate until catcher John Espinosa came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing St. Louis pitcher Nick Chestney, he hit a first pitch slider for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Brooklyn on top, 4-2.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Espinosa.
