Nicotra hits 2 home runs in Arizona Win
The Arizona Desert Storm beat the Dublin Porters, 5-1, at Porters Ballpark. The Desert Storm got a fine performance from first baseman Chris Nicotra, who went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Ron Cook earned the win, while 31-year old left-handed pitcher Andy Pittman took the loss for Dublin. The Desert Storm win now puts them at 49-41.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Nicotra hit a 2-run home run. It thrust the Desert Storm into the lead, 2-0.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Nicotra after the game.
