Aztecs Lose to Yinzers, 9-7
The Pittsburgh Yinzers weathered a fine game by San Antonio designated hitter Josh George to upend the Aztecs, 9-7, at Estadio Azteca. George was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Ricardo Hernandez snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Bobby Brian suffered the loss. The first-place Yinzers bumped their record to 49-40.

Pittsburgh used the timely hitting of Sergio Garced to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Yinzers ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Garced.
