The Brooklyn Knights picked up a win at New York Grounds, knocking off the New York Empire, 5-4. Starting pitcher Mike Rodriguez was a big reason why. Brooklyn reliever Ryan Wolfenbarger picked up the win to move to 4-7. John Potter suffered the loss. Brooklyn has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Brooklyn used the clutch hitting of Melvin Muro to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Knights the lead, 5-3. For the game, Muro had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"Mike was throwing free and easy," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang.
