Danny Staley, who is tied for 2nd in the AL in complete games with 1, had a strong outing for the Buffalo Buffalo against the Hanoi Dragon Warriors at The Nest. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. The winner was Staley. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Jon Gilson. The Dragon Warriors drop to 9-21, as their fitful start to the 2048 campaign continues.

Kevin Barriga had a big 2-run home run for the Buffalo in the top of the fourth inning. With Buffalo leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Jon Gilson and swatted a home run to left. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Buffalo ahead, 3-0.

"Danny was able to execute his pitches," said Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae. "Simple as that."
