Brooklyn Wins, Wallace drives in 3 runs

Behind a solid performance from second baseman Jesse Wallace, the Brooklyn Knights defeated the Buffalo Buffalo, 12-4. Wallace went 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Knights. The winning pitcher was Sam Mooney. He's now 11-7. He went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits for the Knights. The second-place Knights now sit at 48-42.
Early in the game, Wallace had a 3-run home run for Brooklyn. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Knights on top, 4-3.
"Enjoyed this one," Wallace told the Brooklyn News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
