Despite a great performance by Yellowstone shortstop Andres Jaquez, the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Super Volcano by the score of 7-5 at Volcano Ballpark. Jaquez was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Eric Barone notched his 22nd save in 27 chances. The setback makes Yellowstone 57-31.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dave Martinez? The Los Angeles designated hitter had a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Kings on top, 6-5. For the game, Martinez had 2 doubles and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
