Sudbury starter Brett Richardson pitched well against the Osaka Takoyaki at Takoyaki Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-0. Richardson picked up the win for Sudbury, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 3-6.
It could have been a different outcome for Sudbury, had it not been for Joe Seelye, the 28-year old shortstop . Seelye contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Sudbury up, 3-0.
