The East Haddam Hyenas could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Einar Galindo into a win. Instead, the Dublin Porters prevailed, 3-2, in 14 innings. Galindo threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Dublin is second in the Federation League Knuckleheads Division with a record of 43-41.

Jesse Oswald, who finished 2nd in the FL in triples with 5 in 2049, had a direct impact on the outcome. Oswald contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 14th inning to put Dublin up, 3-2.

"We busted our tails," said East Haddam manager Joe Jankowski. "But we came up short."
