Desert Storm Snatch Late-Game, 5-4 Win
The Arizona Desert Storm knocked off the St. Louis Archies, 5-4, in Federation League action at Desert Storm Stadium. Arizona pitcher and Miami, Florida, native Kevin Spencer had an outstanding performance. Arizona, now 18-11, has played well in the early going.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Arizona trailing 4-3, Ben Potgeter hit a cutter from Jason Derrick to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Desert Storm had a walk-off win.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Potgeter said.
