The timely hitting of Vladsislas Wanzha helped the East Haddam Hyenas down the Los Angeles Kings, 6-3. Wanzha hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Hyenas. John Motz locked down his 7th save. The Kings fall to 10-20 and continue to sputter in the early going.

With East Haddam leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Wanzha hit a sinker from Earl Alexander for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Hyenas ahead, 6-1.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Wanzha, "one at-bat at a time."
