Saenz Excels in 7-3 Sudbury Win
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs got a rain-soaked win over the Lansing Red Storm.

Sudbury shortstop Bob Saenz helped his team beat the Lansing Red Storm, 7-3. Saenz went 3 for 3 for the Blueberry Bulldogs. Josh Freeland earned the win to go to 3-1. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts in 7 innings of work.

With Sudbury leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Saenz hit a sinker from Richard Arocha for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 5-0.

"It's still just a game," said Saenz, "whether you win or lose."

The Red Storm, now 11-18, continue their inauspicious start.
