Super Volcano 3B Chiasson scores 3 runs in Win
|
Yellowstone third baseman Ryan Chiasson played a vital role in his team's 8-1 conquest of Hanoi. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for Yellowstone. Jim Davis earned the win, while 24-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Cotton took the loss for Hanoi. The Super Volcano, now 19-10, have been on a roll in the early going.
In the top of the second, Yellowstone first baseman Ricardo Bermudez had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Bermudez stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 4-0, Yellowstone. For the game, he went 1-5, while adding 2 RBI.
