Arizona Desert Storm starter Ronaldo Sardinha turned in a top-notch performance against the Kyiv Cossacks at Desert Storm Stadium. The result was a win for the Desert Storm, 6-1. Sardinha picked up the win for Arizona, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-0. The win puts Arizona at 16-11.

Chris Nicotra had a big 3-run home run for the Desert Storm in the bottom of the third inning. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Desert Storm on top, 4-0.
