Jaquez Whacks 2 Home Runs in 12-6 Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Yellowstone Super Volcano and Havana Sugar Kings.

A 6-RBI performance from shortstop Andres Jaquez, who is a two-time All-Star, led the Yellowstone Super Volcano to a win over the Havana Sugar Kings, 12-6. Mike Martinez was the winner. He's now 3-2. The loser was former first round draft pick Nick Rennie. Ryan Podolsky was credited with the save for Yellowstone, his 7th of the season.

Yellowstone used the hitting of Noel Graeve to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Super Volcano on top, 6-5. For the game, Graeve had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"Enjoyed this one," Graeve told the Yellowstone Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The Sugar Kings, now 10-17, continue their inauspicious start.
