Runde at His Best, Blanks Concord
In a remarkable performance, Qubec City Poutine starter Kyle Runde beat the Concord Blue Devils, 5-0, in an impressive 4-hit shutout.

"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."

The Poutine hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.

"It was a rough one for my guys," Concord manager Alex Fierro said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."

Over the season Runde has thrown 40 innings and dished out 32 strikeouts with a 2-3 mark and a 4.05 ERA.
