Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at The Greenhouse.

The Hanoi Dragon Warriors defeated the Buffalo Buffalo, 10-5. Second Baseman Jamie Williams deserved a large share of the credit. Williams was 2-5 with a home run. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Dragon Warriors. Amari Smith, who finished 4th in the FL in saves with 30 in 2048, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0.

Danny Kelley drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Hanoi. The 29-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Randy Nelson. It was his 10th walk of the season.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae.

Buffalo is 14-12 after the defeat.
