Memphis and East Haddam duked it out and the Chicks came out victorious.

In a tight tilt between the Memphis Chicks and the East Haddam Hyenas, Gordon Krajancic was the deciding factor. The Memphis right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Krajancic, now 1-3, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 9, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Daniel Forsyth nailed down his 5th save.

Nate Harmon, who is a two-time All-Star, contributed to the Memphis win with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said East Haddam manager Joe Jankowski.

Memphis is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 9th in 24 games.
